After blogging and holding Giveaway #01 and Giveaway #02 for the Rise and Shine Expo workshops, I think my readers would probably know by now about the event taking place on 27-29 Sept. Still, I would like to have a summary here on what you can expect in the event for those who still may not fully navigate through the Rise and Shine Expo website and for those who may not know what this event is all about.
1. Lots of great buys for baby and children’s products
This expo is probably one of the biggest in bringing in premium brands, or rather brands we are very familiar with, which are really offering at great discounts! If you want to know what brands are participating, take a look here
2. Stage activites
There are lots of performance, contests and seminars conducted by renowned speakers throughout these 3 days. Be sure to check out Rise and Shine Expo website to have the latest update on more information for the stage activities.
3. Meet and Greet with Nickelodeon’s characters
This will get children who love Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go! and Ni Hao, Kai-Lan excited! Your children can expect stage performances and be close up to them for photo-taking! Details are here!
4. Many Booth Activities
There are always lots of fun for the little ones. Check out the booth activities taking place the whole day! Your kids are sure to enjoy face painting, glitter tattoo, art and craft, bouncy castle, story telling, photo booth for the family and lots more!
5. Exciting contests for the whole family
a) For kids: there is a “Colour My Feelings” colouring contest. This boasts the first Singapore record breaking colouring contest. First 500 entries will also receive a creative pack worth $20 that includes oil pastels from Crayola, origami paper set, etc. If your kid is 12 years old and below, and love to colour, you may register at $10 per person and still get back $20 worth of art supplies back. b) For Expectant Mummies: you can take part in “Belly Beautiful Contest” by Philips AVENT. Just come dress in your best and charm the judges to win attractive Philips AVENT hampers worth up to S$500. Click here for details.
c) For Babies: If you think your cherub is super cute, don’t miss this chance to enrol him / her in this contest! This is open for babies 6 months to 18 months. Check this out!
d) For Toddlers: If your baby is past 18 months, fret not! You can still enrol him / her in this “Sunshine Parade”! Your toddler can parade with cute bum bums and wow the judges to win fabulous prizes. There are 3 categories for 0-4 years old. However, at the time this post is published, only Category 3 is left due to overwhelming response! This category is “Mr Sunny and Miss Sunny” for 2-4 years old. If he or she is a natural crowd puller or eyeball turner, enrol now before the registration is full! For the first 2 categories, however, you can still email to the organizers to put yourself on waiting list. Details are here.
6. Lucky Draw
– Stand a chance to win more than $10,000 worth of prizes in Rise & Shine Expo Sure Win Lucky Dip! Here’s how to qualify for the draw:
a. Check in at the event at Suntec Hall 401 on 27-29 Sept while you are shopping
b. Spend at least $250 during the Rise & Shine Expo and present your receipt at the redemption booth outside Hall 401 for your chance to have a go at the lucky dip
c. The lucky dip session will last for 1 hour per session and the first 160pax in that hour will get to have a chance at winning one prize item!
d. Receipts can be combined to make up $250 in spending

7. Attractive goodie bags and doorgifts
The goodie bags have to be pre-registered for a coupon and you have to be the first 500 in line to get one! They are worth more than $100 each! Pre-register here.
For the doorgifts, if you have registered for workshops or kids’ enrichment classes, you will be entitled to one that is worth $50! Remember to bring your confirmation slip to redeem! If you are wondering what kids’ enrichment classes there are, check this out!

That’s what I thought too! After giving out complimentary tickets, I realize that there is not much written on the event itself, hence, this post. No, there is no entrance fee at all. Just bring your kids along to enjoy the activities! Thanks for dropping by my blog!
