Imaginarium @ SAM (March holiday activities)

Imaginarium

I brought the kiddos to one of our favourite place, SAM (Singapore Art Museum) at 8Q today. We always remember a couple of years back, we had a fun time engaging in art fun with interactive art work in the Art Garden theme from Children’s Seasons at the same place. So, today, we are back here again after reading a fellow mum blogger’s review on Imaginarium.

ImaginariumA Voyage of Big Ideas is also part of the countless celebrations for Singapore’s 50th birthday. It is a theme inspired by the crescent moon on the Singapore’s flag, a symbol of a young nation on the rise with the capacity to dream big and think large. All the interactive art works are inspired by artists from Singapore and the region. It is interesting to read the write up beside each exhibit and activity room on the artists’ ideas. Doctor for a day @ Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital

Doctor for a day was back again recently! You can imagine my anxiety and fast fingers to register both my elder kids for the event before the time slot keeps changing to “sold out” within seconds! This event has been a highly sought after kids fun event since 2012.

What exactly is this and why is it so popular?

It is a day for children age 5-10 to encounter what goes on for doctors in a day in a REAL Hospital setting! Just reading on the program line up will get parents like me to register without much thought because we know our kids will enjoy themselves very much!

There are 6 stations for these little “doctors” to attend to.

1st station: The Doctor’s Room – where the kids learn about some basics of hygiene in the hospital. They learn about the 7 steps of handwashing, why the need to wear a mask and shower cap. Continue reading “Doctor for a day @ Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital”

We were invited to Canon Family Blogger Photo Shoot Out to have a day of fun at Sentosa and to try out Canon cameras. If anyone would have remembered, last Saturday was those days when you wished you had a beautiful sky with enough sunshine to take good pictures while having a good time, but of all days, that was the only day it rained non-stop for the few hours that we were supposed to be having fun. Still, we enjoyed ourselves more than we could imagine despite the rain. Nothing’s going to stop us from having a great time at The State of Fun! Continue reading “Canon Camera & The State of Fun!”

And of course, the kids were so excited for the KidsSTOP play after that, we stayed there for a full 5 hours! Continue reading “KidsSTOP Review and Tricky Treats Halloween event”
