We were invited to Canon Family Blogger Photo Shoot Out to have a day of fun at Sentosa and to try out Canon cameras. If anyone would have remembered, last Saturday was those days when you wished you had a beautiful sky with enough sunshine to take good pictures while having a good time, but of all days, that was the only day it rained non-stop for the few hours that we were supposed to be having fun. Still, we enjoyed ourselves more than we could imagine despite the rain. Nothing’s going to stop us from having a great time at The State of Fun! Continue reading “Canon Camera & The State of Fun!”

Science Comic – JJ’s Science Adventure Book Review {+Giveaway}

Science is a daily encounter. Children learn about Science through their daily activities. So, Science should be an easy subject when school children starts to learn it as a formal subject in Primary 3.

But, is it really so easy to ace?

I do not think so at all.

I realize that even though children may know Science, they may not know how to answer the test questions using Scientific terms nor do they remember all facts at the age of 9. How to deal with Science questions in the exams would probably be another blog post on its own. But there is a way to remember how Science works and key concepts for the exams and it is easy! Agapebabies – mum shopping a breeze

I am actually not a savvy mum.

While all my peers are into online shopping and buying cute baby clothes, diapers, mums’ essentials at a click of a finger, I still like to go to the stores and buy during sale. I like to feel the clothes that I am buying and enjoy the shopping moments when I walk in and out of stores in heels and looking pretty in Orchard Road. Ha!

Then, at this time when I am extremely busy and taking a day off from work to indulge in shopping is no longer at will, my saviour comes to the rescue. The friendly folks at Agapebabies introduced me to the multi-store concept of online shopping. I could finally call myself a newbie “savvy mum”.

Poolzies shoes for little feet under the hot sun + {International Giveaway!}

Poolzie5

Singapore is a sunny island and over here, it’s a common sight to tip toe around the poolside under the scorching hot sun. The floor is burning hot. Often, we endure the scalding sensation to our soles when we cross from one pool to the next. So, when we have kids, we ferry them from one kiddie pool to the next by carrying them off the ground. But, how about water play with slides and all on the rooftop of shopping centres? We can’t be ferrying them around from one slide to the next!

And you can bet my excitement when Poolzies founder offered their Pool shoes for little feet to run about under the sun and on slippery floors! It is such a brilliant idea and I wonder why didn’t anyone thought of this before? Continue reading “Poolzies shoes for little feet under the hot sun + {International Giveaway!}”
