Chinese Enrichment Holiday Camp @ KidStartNow + Giveaway!!
I have never sent my kids to academic enrichment classes before. However, I had once let XX join a 3-day Math holiday camp during a school holiday period because I did not want her to waste her time at home doing nothing much. Also, I believe holiday camps are fun and kids are bound to enjoy the learning-through-play camps. When YH had the opportunity to attend KidStartNow’s story-telling themed Chinese enrichment holiday camp, I was really happy and Continue reading “Chinese Enrichment Holiday Camp @ KidStartNow + Giveaway!!”
Our first family cruise – Mariner of the seas (Royal Caribbean)
It has been 2 years since we last went on a family holiday to Sweden. Now, with the addition of Baby Little YT, we decided a cruise might be the best holiday to enjoy with so many young kids. So, we joined my parents and brother’s family for a 4D3N cruise on-board Royal Caribbean’s biggest cruise ship in Asia “Mariner of the Seas“. It spans 1020 feet, 15 decks high (imagine a hdb block!), has 10 pools/whirlpools, and 17 bars/clubs/lounges, etc… We were prepared to be wowed by the amazing size, endless activities, exceptional crew service and excellent amenities on-board! Changi Airport – Spongebob Square Pants Bouncy Castle
I wonder which other airport has as much fun as our Singapore’s iconic Changi Airport. For many people here, Changi Airport is a fun place to go to during weekends and school holidays. You can spend the whole day shopping without GST (Goods and Services Tax) even if you are not flying out of Singapore. Your kids can have fun in playgrounds and go for the slides in Terminal 3! There are countless restaurants, cafes and empty seats in the entire airport to rest your feet while watching the aeroplanes take off. A peep into Organic Bakery kitchen – Bud of Joy
Are you a fan of organic foods? Have you heard of Organic Bakery? I know organic foods exist, but I always suspect ALL ingredients that go into the process of making the end product are bound to have something that are not so organic. How wrong I was after visiting Bud of Joy, an Organic Bakery and Store selling pure organic foods. Over the weekends, I took my kids to have an educational tour of the bakery’s kitchen and we learnt all about preparation of the organic ingredients into baking organic cakes, 100% wholemeal organic bread, and organic cookies and pastries. Everything made in the bakery is 100% natural, pesticide-free with no preservatives nor artificial ingredients! Wow! I thought to myself: to put in so much effort to prepare the ingredients to make nutritious and delicious pastries, the baker must have a lot of passion for healthy food!
